Class Guidelines

Studio Classes

When undertaking a VMA class in the studio please ensure you follow the guidelines below:

  • Please book your class in advance via our web store (www.vmafitness-store.co.uk)
  • Please arrive 5-10mins before the start of class
  • Bring along a water bottle and sweat towel
  • Sanitise your hands when you arrive at VMA
  • Please leave shoes and any personal belongings in the reception area in the cubby holesprovided.
  • Notify the instructor if you have any new/ongoing injuries or illness
  • Please respect the venue, instructors and other participants and their personal space.
  • For the ongoing health of the teacher and friends in class, VMA Fitness Instructors may refuse the right to teach a class participant who is evidently not well. Please do not return to class until fully recovered.
  • Please leave promptly so that we can sanitise and be ready for the next group
  • Have a great workout!

Online Zoom Classes

When undertaking a VMA online live class please ensure you follow the guidelines below:

  • Make sure you have booked your class in advance via the web store (www.vmafitness-store.co.uk)
  • Ensure that you are fit and healthy to exercise. VMA Fitness Centre will not be responsible for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of our online classes. If at any point in the class you begin to feel faint/dizzy or unwell please stop immediately!
  • Log in 5-10 mins before the class begins to ensure a good connection
  • The zoom link can be found under the ‘my bookings’ tab, this link will expire at the start time of the class. If you are running late use the zoom link in your original booking confirmation email as this is always active even after the class has started
  • Notify the instructor if you have any new/ongoing injuries or illness
  • Make sure that you have appropriate space to conduct your workout withoutdisruptions
  • Have your video on and sound off for the duration of the class
  • Zoom workouts are recorded and available On Demand, in registering for an online class you agree to the recording of the class. Recordings only show the Instructor.
  • Please use good judgement and common sense when taking part, ensure you have enough space around you to complete the exercises with no obstructions and you won’t be disturbed with people/pets coming and going.
  • Consider your own ability and choose the appropriate level of exercise for you. Rest when needed and take on water.
